The latest issue of Planet Mindful has hit the supermarket shelves and there is plenty of content relating to mental health and wellbeing.

From yoga to help you sleep, to how bibliotherapy may soothe your soul, from how it feels to leave London for the quieter, friendlier streets of Yorkshire to the modern face of communal living, the 116-page magazine aims to help readers choose a calmer life.

As usual there are plenty of authors who will be familiar to visitors to welldoing.org. Therapists who have written articles include Julia Bueno, Eve Menezes Cunningham, Sandra Hilton, Monika Dedus, Katerina Georgiou, Vic Leeson. We also have an interview with non-practising therapist Philippa Perry about her new, best-selling book, The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (And Your Parents Will be Glad That You Did).

As editor Louise Chunn wrote in her Editor’s Letter, “This magazine isn’t designed to be read only by women of a certain age - or even just women. Living a conscious life, aiming for good mental health and wellbeing and a calmer approach is the mission.”

Planet Mindful is published six times a year. It is available in Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, WH Smith's, and Tesco, for £5.99.
