Welldoing.org is the UK’s leading therapist matching service for in-person and online therapy. We have been successfully matching people with verified therapists and counsellors since 2014. We have over 880 therapist members, all of whom are verified as members of their professional associations annually, and a huge library of articles and resources on mental health, self-development and wellbeing. Our mission is to improve mental wellbeing support for all, through better access, understanding and efficiency.
If you need help finding the right therapist for you, you're not alone. It can be really difficult to find the best match, even if you have been in therapy before. Our directory features mental health professionals working all around the UK, so you can be sure to find a therapist near you. We verify our therapists and counsellors annually, to ensure that they are members of recognised professional bodies. As Prof Tanya Byron wrote in The Times we are "an excellent resource" for people looking for accredited therapists.
Our aim at welldoing.org is to make it as easy as possible for you, though our focus is always on finding you the right therapist, not just the closest or cheapest. Research has shown that the fit between client and therapist is more important to the success of therapy than any other element.
