Welldoing.org is a directory for therapists, helping professionals across the UK find more clients, save time and focus on what’s important.

Why you should join welldoing.org

  • we match clients with the mental health professionals most suited to them
  • opportunities to write and be promoted
  • online booking so no more missed opportunities
  • one diary for all your clients to use
  • receive instant payments when your clients pay online

How to use our diary

We have created a diary so you can make bookings and take payments on welldoing.org. It is simple to set up, and saves a great deal of time and effort for therapists who use it. Here's how it works:

  • when you create your profile, also connect to Stripe so you can receive money through the payment service. You will find the option to do this under 'Profile' and 'Bookings'
  • within the 'Account' section, outline your usual week's schedule. You can attach days to different locations if you work from different areas
  • when you are contacted for an appointment, use the diary to secure the slot, and match it with the details of the individual client and the fee agreed
  • the fee will be taken from your client's account five days before the appointment and is available to you within a week
  • welldoing.org takes a £2.50 booking charge for every payment made through the platform
  • you can also use the diary without taking payments if you wish

Other benefits of joining our directory for therapists

  • be part of a community that promotes therapy and works to destigmatise mental health in the press and on social media. You can read some of our press here
  • welldoing.org is the mental health content and therapy partner for HealthUnlocked.com - the UK's largest health community platform
  • contribute articles to the site and be read by some of our 100k views each month
  • join our thriving Facebook therapist community and connect with other therapists
  • our therapists can claim 12 months' free premium subscription to the acclaimed mindfulness app Calm, worth £40, and offer two months' trial subscription to their clients
  • we also offer a free download of the NHS-approved cognitive fitness app MyCognition, worth £80

What it costs

What therapists think of welldoing.org

Welldoing.org is so well placed to match patients with the right therapist to suit their needs. I've had such positive feedback from patients

Dr Sophia Hilsley

I've tried a few systems like this, but yours is the best; it really suits therapy, and payment is smooth. My clients appreciate that they don't need to set things up with me by phone

Welldoing.org uses a wide variety of search criteria which helps the client find the therapist with the best ‘fit’ and this makes a big difference to the successful outcome of therapy

I think welldoing.org is head and shoulders above other listings sites

Jacky Francis Walker
