Mel McGrath
Psychosynthesis counsellorAbout Me
Counselling is a space for you to talk about anything that is coming up for you and that you would like to make more sense of. Working with me would be completely confidential and I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk openly. I welcome all inquiries and hope to help support you in whatever it is you are bringing with an awareness of the heaviness of the world right now. Counselling can help you learn how to manage your feelings and make use of your own resources to find solutions. I work from a transpersonal perspective taking your history into account whilst also looking inward at your potential. I work as a guide to help you find what motivates you, what holds you back, and how to reconnect to your self. Psychosynthesis is the model of psychotherapy I am qualified in and it is a creative model that uses a wide range of techniques including guided visualisations and drawing should you be interested in this. I work creatively with techniques that I can adapt to assist each client on an individual level to find some understanding of what is coming up in their lives to cause them distress.
If you are struggling to make sense of your world and would like to talk I would be glad to hear from you to discuss how we might work together and wish you well in these unprecedented times.
