I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Member of the Guild of Psychotherapists and fully accredited by UKCP.  I abide by the Ethical Codes of Practice of The Guild and of UKCP.

My approach is collaborative. I am in this with you in a therapeutic relationship on which you can depend. My job is to listen, understand and remember, helping you to make connections you might not otherwise make. I facilitate your insight around patterns and behaviours that may be unconscious, to help you to integrate them, to understand and know yourself better and to help you achieve a better relationship with yourself and others. Where there is trauma, I help you to survive it and relegate it to past tense, so you can enjoy a better quality of life in the present and future.

I work with trauma, anxiety, addiction, bereavement, anger management, relationship difficulties, sexuality, depression, personality disorder, domestic violence, PTSD and historic child sexual abuse. We work at your pace. I don't try to 'fix' you. I facilitate your better self-awareness, to know and understand yourself more deeply and to create the psychological conditions for growth and for your better future. You will be contained in your difficulties, facilitated in moving forward and always supported. Our therapeutic relationship is a catalyst for positive change.
