Clare Faulkner
Sex therapy therapistAbout Me
I am a psychosexual and couples’ therapist who aims to build a warm and respectful relationship with clients to explore current and past concerns.
I support my clients in clearing and changing limiting beliefs, allowing them to release and free themselves from emotional blocks. This brings insight and a deeper understanding of behavioural patterns.
I work with both individuals and couples to help build self-confidence, improve communication skills, and form better relationship with themselves and others.
We are not born lacking confidence. As we grow things tend to happen to us, and over time this accumulation of "stuff" tends to control the way we think and act. We might need new ways of looking at old situations to free us from the past and to empower us for the future.
Everybody has difficulties and challenges at some point in their life. Therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist that helps to identify problems and unhelpful patterns that stop us from living our full potential.
I am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I am an accredited member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and adhere to their ethical framework. I undertake monthly supervision and keep up to date with developments in the field with regular CPD training. I am GDPR compliant and am registered with the ICO.
