Semeyra Sarwar
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Hello and a warm welcome.
Seeking help for a problem we are going through in our lives is not always easy. It takes courage and a real sense of self awareness to recognise that we might benefit from working with a counsellor to gain insight into the issues we are experiencing, what led us to where we are and how we can move forward.
I aim to provide a safe and supportive therapeutic setting through which we can work together to help you achieve this.
I have counselled people from many different walks of life, to help them work through and overcome a wide range of life issues. I am particularly experienced in providing counselling for anxiety, stress, depression, family and relationship issues. I also provide counselling for cultural issues, including for people who are struggling to meet cultural expectations from their family or wider community.
I am fully qualified and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I fully abide by the BACP code of ethics in my counselling practice.
