Sarvin Afarinesh
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer a warm and engaging approach to exploring what's causing you pain and dissatisfaction. I support you to re-connect to yourself and to find out what you need to live a more fulfilling life.
I am a multi-cultural, integrative psychotherapist. My approach combines psychodynamic, humanistic, existentialism and body psychotherapy. This includes raising awareness of your thoughts, emotions and actions conscious, feelings with curiosity and compassion. We will explore your relationship with yourself and with others as well as your needs, choices and inner resources. My aim is for you to know yourself better as a whole to feel empowered to live the life that you want.
In addition to talking, I welcome creative expressions, such as working with drawing, poetry, clay, objects or with the imagination.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients. I have a special interest in working with diversity/difference, cultural displacement and identity. I often work with clients who feel multi-cultural tensions in their life and with TCKs.
I offer sessions online via video and in person.
If you want a confidential space to explore difficult aspects of your life or need support from an objective perspective, therapy could be a great place to start. Contact me to see how I can support you and we can meet for an initial session to decide if we would like to work together. I am a BACP registered member and accredited by the UKCP and adhere to their code of ethics.
