Sarah Norman
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Hello and welcome to my bio. I have a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of clients within a GP surgery and also the independent mental health charity Mind - both in Victoria/Westminster and Suffolk. I work in private practice in London and in Suffolk. I am also able to offer telephone and video counselling for clients who don’t wish to travel for face-to-face counselling. I offer a safe, respectful and empathic therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty and openness.
I aim to provide clients with support in developing a greater sense of self, helping them to explore how their attitudes, feelings and behaviour are being negatively affected and then find their true positive potential. As part of the process, we explore confusion, conflict, difficult emotions and possible solutions to complex or day-to-day issues.
I am a fully qualified counsellor with a First Class Honours Degree in Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I believe in the inherent ability of my clients to make sense of their experience and to move forward - with help, support and a chance to find new ways of looking at things. I love the part I play in this process.
