Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Understanding that life can be overwhelming and hard to navigate for a wide variety of reasons, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore whatever challenges you may be facing - whether it is something you have battled for years, or only encountered recently. You may be suffering from anxiety, living with depression, or struggling with a loss of meaning in life. You may be experiencing difficulty in a relationship or at work. Or perhaps you are overwhelmed by feelings of loss following a bereavement. It is also possible that you are not really sure why you are finding life tough. Sometimes something doesn’t feel right and we don’t really know why. I will work with you to explore the right way to approach whatever you are facing, whilst offering a solid, containing place of support.
I am an integrative, relational psychotherapist, which means that I was trained in a number of therapeutic approaches. This enables me to consider various perspectives on any presenting issue; I do not believe that there is just one answer to any problem and I do not impose solutions onto you. Instead I work alongside you, helping you to rediscover or develop new resources, and change behaviours that may have become unhelpful.
Working relationally means that I prioritise building a trusting relationship; one that enables you to feel comfortable in sharing your experiences. Together, we can then work to help you better understand and tackle whatever anxieties, challenges and difficulties you may be facing.
In addition to my core training, I have specialist training in death and bereavement.
