Patricia Grey
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I am a qualified and experienced integrative, embodied-relational and wild psychotherapist and counsellor, working in Bethnal Green, in central London. I also work online, by phone and outdoors. I work with individual adults, either on an open-ended basis or for an agreed amount of time. However we meet, my aim is to provide a warm, confidential and non-judgmental environment in which to explore what brings you here and which parts of you are waiting to be met.
I have been in private practice for over ten years.
I am a member of both UKCP and BACP and abide by their codes of ethical practice.
People seek therapy for all sorts of reasons. It may be a specific crisis or problem that you want help with, you may wish to get in touch with yourself at a deeper level, to try to unravel the patterns that seem to hold you back, or you may see it as an opportunity for personal development. You might also want to explore the 'wilder' parts of you, those parts that have become domesticated and feel lost.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, neurodiversity, feelings of disconnection, work-related problems, panic attacks, trauma, abuse, childhood sexual abuse, illness, bereavement, loss, grief, relationship difficulties, loneliness, self-esteem issues, spirituality, sexuality and sex-related problems. I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and welcome those from marginalised groups.
My space is wheelchair-accessible.

Fees
The fee for an initial session of 50 minutes is £85 and fees thereafter are from £85-£120, depending on time of day and your circumstances, per weekly session of 50 minutes.
Our introductory session gives us an opportunity to meet, to explore what brings you to therapy now and what you hope to gain. We can also discuss any fears you may have about being in therapy. You might choose to visit a few therapists before deciding on who you would like to work with, and there is no obligation to continue working with me.
I can sometimes offer a reduced rate during the day to students and those on low income. These spaces are very limited. Please ask if you feel this applies to you.
Training and qualifications
I trained at the Minister Centre in London, and have an MA and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling and a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. Further training has led to an Advanced Diploma in Embodied Relational Therapy and a Diploma in Ecotherapy. I am also a trained practitioner of AIT (Advanced Integrative Therapy), a gentle but effective way of working with trauma, using the body's energy system.
I am an accredited member of UKCP and a registered member of BACP, and I abide by their codes of ethics. As a professional psychotherapist and counsellor I am committed to regular continuing professional development to inform and enhance my practice.
