Michelle Williams
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
Hi! I’m Michelle. I’m an integrative counsellor which means I use a variety of methods to help my clients but central to my work is the counsellor/client relationship. I am committed to being alongside you in whatever you are struggling with and provide a space that is confidential, free from judgment and gives an opportunity for exploring your feelings and thoughts and reaching a better understanding of yourself.
Before I became a counsellor, I was a teacher and I really enjoyed being a pastoral leader and having the opportunity to connect with people and helping them to find ways to overcome any difficulties they were facing – that’s why I wanted to become a counsellor. After 20 years in the education sector, I lost my mum just before lockdown in 2020, took on caring duties for my elderly father, quit teaching and started studying for my counselling qualification.
If you think I might be the right therapist for you, send me a message and we can arrange an initial ‘getting to know each other’ call so that you can ask me any questions you may have.
