Marta Zdzieblowska
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer a creative, compassionate and reaserch backed approach to counselling and psychotherapy in Central and East London.
You may feel overwhelmed, stuck or unsure of your next steps, perhaps something is not allowing you to live your life fully. A lot of people feel isolated in their struggles, pushing pain away just to get by. You may feel an underlying sense of unease even if things look fine from the outside.
Together, we can create a space for you to focus on what matters, explore both your difficulties and aspirations. This can be an entry point to living life with more meaning, more joy and connection with yourself and others.
As an Integrative practitioner, I draw on a range of psychological approaches. These include Humanistic, Psychodynamic as well as Positive Psychology, CBT techniques, or Mindfulness. Above all else I will listen to you attentively and respectfully; we can then both decide on the direction of our work together.
I see counselling as a process of creative collaboration which does not need to be limited to a dialogue. Some people find it helpful to explore deeply ingrained patterns or complex feelings through guided imagery, dream work, drawing or movement. Others find that mindfulness-based cognitive approaches are well suited to their needs. There are many options, together we can find out what would be most helpful to you.
I warmly invite you for an initial consultation without further commitment. It will be a chance for us to meet each other, discuss your hopes and worries about the counselling process and find out how we could work together.
