I have a diverse background in work before becoming a therapist, working at shop floor level to supervisory and management roles and experience in the Military and Police force. I like to spend time explaining the theory behind counselling and hypnotherapy and how a client's mind actually works. I believe the mind controls us and regulates our bodies and once we have an understanding of it we can learn to to control ourselves and our responses better. Hypnotherapy has a huge range of applications, not just for correcting what we feel is wrong but for improving what we can already do. Ask yourself why top athletes and sportsman, actors and businessman might use hypnotherapy, most of the top flight premier league football teams employ hypnotherapist, Tiger woods and Lewis Hamilton are probably two household names we might not associate with therapy but both have used hypnotherapy to improve performance and focus.
