About Me

Hello I'm Mark

Life can feel tough at times and feelings can begin to overwhelm us.  Perhaps you find yourself here because you are feeling anxious, or angry, or sad and can't quite put your finger on why.  Perhaps you find building and maintaining relationships difficult or are in a particularly challenging stage of your life.

I offer a calm, holding and empathic space in which you can build awareness and understanding of the feelings and emotions that hold you back and prevent you living the life you would like.  I aim to create an environment in which you can explore the here-and-now challenges of life and reflect upon them in the context of your full life experience in order to begin the process of positive change.

I recognise that coming to therapy, particularly for the first time, can be a daunting experience and provide a safe, compassionate and confidential space for you to explore the difficult moments and challenges you are experiencing.

Fees

My fees start at £70.  I offer a small number of low cost sessions for those on lower incomes, please ask.

To begin our work I suggest an initial 15-min phone or online session to meet and talk a little about what brings you to therapy and what you might be looking for.  This is a free, no-obligation conversation and will allow us to decide if we would like to work together and to talk through next steps.

Training and qualifications

I hold a Diploma in Counselling from The Minster Centre and am currently studying for my MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Registration Number: 401872).
