Integrative counsellorAbout Me
“When a person realizes he has been deeply heard, his eyes moisten. I think in some real sense he is weeping for joy. It is as though he were saying, ‘Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it's like to be me.’ ” - Carl Rogers
I am an integrative counsellor offering a safe, non-judgemental and empathic space where you can tell me what it’s like to be you, coming alongside you to help explore ways as unique as you are, for you to move forward in the situation in which you find yourself.
My clients include children and young people with SEND and families who support and care for them. I also work extensively in the palliative care arena with children, adults and their families / loved ones.
No matter how big or small, every loss, whether that of a family member, a pet, a job or dream, can be extremely traumatic. Through a person-centred approach and processing your loss at your pace, we will attempt to find a new normal that enables you to face tomorrow stronger than you were before.
If you are looking for a counsellor who will listen to your story and truly hear what you have to say, then please contact me – I would be honoured to walk the road with you.
