Feeling as if we are not being heard, that our feelings are being dismissed or that nobody understands, can be one of the most frustrating and loneliest places a person can find themselves in.

These feelings of frustration and loneliness can lead to resentment and anger which in turn can isolate us even more from those we care about; and then we start to turn those feelings inwards and become guilty and ashamed. 

This is a vicious cycle and can continue for a lifetime.  Fortunately, there is somewhere you can come where you will be heard and understood, somewhere where the loneliness will slip away, and a place to learn how to stop the vicious cycle.
