About me

https://liliasheleg.co.uk/ I started my psychotherapy journey more than 15 years ago. I first came to psychotherapy as a client trying to find answers to so many questions. This experience changed my life and brought me to a new career path. I am an integrative psychotherapist which means I combine different psychotherapeutic modalities including analytic, existential and humanistic, depending on my client’s situation. Currently, I have a particular interest in the relationships people have with themselves and with others. I believe that a lot of human suffering comes from experiences obtained in relationships and therefore can be healed in those relationships.  I provide a safe and confidential space where trusting relationships between client and therapist can be nurtured to facilitate change. Research suggests that therapeutic relationships are the most important contributing factor to successful therapy.
