I offer a space to be real and look at what is difficult with warmth and a sense of humour...so necessary to face life's ironies. My aim is helping people developing a better relationship with themselves...How? working towards finding more acceptance of who we are, so we can feel freer and more at ease with the inevitable difficulties of life. If we find a way to turn perceived shortcomings into resources, then self-esteem doesn't need to be dragging us down and making us feel doomed. My orientation is Integrative and Relational, and as well as mind and emotions, my work can involve the body. I have been accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) for 15 years. The UKCP is a national association of psychotherapy practitioners, which protects the public through ensuring its members meet high standards and strict training requirements and offer high quality psychological therapies.
