About Me

Hi, my name is Keren.  I care deeply about your wellbeing.  I am here to help you manage your emotions better, improve your self-esteem, confidence, relationships and much more.  My first session is free, to discover how we can work together.

About me:

Hi a warm welcome to my profile page.  I spent the first chapter of my life growing up and working in New Zealand.  I trust you will find me easy to relate to, as I am down to earth and a good listener.  I offer counselling sessions face-to-face in Chelmsford and online via a secure platform, such as: Zoom.

As an integrative therapist, I work creatively and tailor therapy to meet your individual needs.  The space I offer is confidential, with sessions taking place in a warm and inviting setting.   I welcome clients from all backgrounds and work in a supportive and non-discriminatory way.

I am a BACP accredited therapist with over ten years experience counselling adults, young people and children dealing with past and present issues, such as: ADHD, anxiety, bereavement, depression, low self esteem, loss, trauma and relationship issues.

My approach to counselling:

Building a trusting relationship is central to our work together, as this helps you open up about anything concerning you.  I listen without judgement and ask relevant questions, to help you share your thoughts, feelings and experiences with ease.  It is important that you feel heard and understood.  We think about your feelings together and sometimes make links to past experiences.  This helps you understand and manage your emotions better.  We consider how your self-esteem and relationships are affected, so you can make positive changes to improve your confidence, relationships and quality of life.

What to do next:

If you would like to find out more, please email or call me on 07305 491018 to set up an initial meeting free of charge. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what you want from counselling sessions and how I can help. If you decide you would like to continue, we can arrange further sessions together.
