As a counsellor I offer you a calm, non-judgemental space in which to explore your concerns and distress, however specific or blurry they may be. By listening so that you are heard, I will support you in processing things that are troubling you. This is likely to include reflecting on things that have happened to you in the past. This helps to both work through what happened in the past and to shed a light on what is going on for you now. As we work together, we will work to untangle knots, to bring understanding, and self-awareness. As blockages are released, this brings a deeper connection to the different parts of you and increased freedom from the distress that you have found yourself in, more wholeness in yourself, better relationships with others and more confidence in moving forward.

I have an interest in supporting those going through bumps and diversions in life to support them in their time of distress to grow through it to live life more fully as who they are. By focussing on your specific needs, by giving attention to your emotional needs, I can help you to find your way through your struggles.

I bring my life experience and experience of working in industry, in education and the charitable sector both overseas and in the UK to my work as a counsellor.
