About Me

I am a UKCP accredited integrative psychotherapist, working in central London* I work with individual adults either for an agreed amount of time or on an open-ended basis. I offer a safe and confidential space in which to explore the issues that bring you to therapy.

Who do I work with?

I work with people from all works of life, ages and professions. I find that I work best with people that are curious about how they find themself where they are and are now ready to commit to therapy and engage with the process of change.

I am experienced in working with a range of issues including attachment issues, grief and loss, sadness and depression, life transitions, overcoming difficult childhood experiences, low self-esteem, and relationship breakdowns.

How do I work?

I strive to balance the past and the present, using psychodynamic theory to understand your internal world, understanding of relationships and sense of self. This means that we would seek to understand your current issues within the context of your past experiences, relationships and attachment. In seeking to understand you I always remain mindful of the realities of your lived experiences and the impact that issues such as class, gender and racial oppression has on us.

How can I help?

Through therapy, I will help you make sense of both past and present experiences, that are still affecting you now. Help you to examine patterns of relating and behaving, so that you can develop a better relationship with yourself and others.

While I believe that an understanding of the past is essential, positive change occurs in the present. The process of therapy will help you to develop more self-awareness and an increased capacity for self-reliance, enabling you to develop your potential in your own way. I will encourage you to take an active part in therapy and to continue to seek insight and growth outside of our sessions.

Working together

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to meet, get a sense of each other and decide if we would like to work together. Think of it like a check-in, where I will ask lots of questions to get a sense of you and what brings you to therapy. At the end of the session, we will have an idea if we would like to continue. If we decide to work together, sessions are 50 minutes long, and we will meet weekly on the same day and at the same time. For the foreseeable future sessions will be held online using Zoom, FaceTime or Skype*.
