I am passionate about helping clients resolve issues that are causing some level of emotional distress .

I want to help promote positive mental health . I work alongside my clients to promote this , whatever the issue .

I have made a special study of psychological trauma . This is what can result in PTSD , or where complex traumas originated in childhood - sexual abuse , physical abuse , emotional abuse or extreme neglect , COMPLEX PTSD . I work with both males and females and all genders .

Psychological traumas can also lead to dissociative disorders (which are often misdiagnosed by psychiatry professionals).

My work is primarily person- centred , integrative and relational . I work to identify and release blocked emotions and negative energies .

One of the models I work with - The Chrysalis Model - holds that past , present , future all hold equal value . therapeutic change work can occur in any of the three tenses , or , ideally , all three .

It seems to me that most problems with the human condition relate to our need for nurturing relationships so any natural solution has to come via right relationship . The starting point for this is to be in right relationship with oneself .

Wether the presenting issue be anxiety , depression , one of the addictions , anger management  , or even the psychoses , making the shift to be in right relationship with oneself is core to healing .

I enjoy helping others to find their way into nurturing relationship with others. We all need these .
