Jayne Gregory
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Trauma-informed psychotherapist and counsellor with over 15 years’ experience working in the NHS, charity sector, and private practice. I specialise in helping people like you accept and love your authentic, weird, out-of-place self.
I help uncover the layers holding you together, enabling you to learn the shadows of the past, understand yourself and thrive.
I work with clients of all ages, especially Gen Z / Millennials in their twenties and thirties. Life can be hard to navigate at this age, and it’s easy to feel as if you’re getting it wrong. If you’re suffering with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or the after-effects of trauma, that adds more layers of difficulty.
If you’re finding yourself blowing up at people, fearful and in tears, or just plain numb, there’s a reason behind all that, and a solution too. I’m here to help you find what it is.
With me, you get to explore and accept your real, authentic self – however weird or out-of-place that person might be. You’ll learn how to take control of what’s happened to you in the past, so it’s no longer in charge of you.
And you’ll then learn how to genuinely enjoy life (rather than pretending you are). Both the good bits and the less-than-good bits.
If you’ve ever felt on your own, out of place or as if you can’t be your true self, you’re very welcome here.
My approach
I see the whole of a person, not just a list of problems. I accept everything, and nothing you can say will shock me. (I’ve probably heard it before, anyhow).
Thriving looks different for everybody, and there’s no right way to do things. But you can learn to genuinely enjoy life, rather than pretending. Both the good bits and the challenges.
