About Me

I am originally from Paris and relocated to London for work in 1995. My first career was in marketing, as a designer working on global corporate brands and occasionally small start-ups. I started studying psychology initially to move from creative to strategic planning but somewhere along the line changed career.

I specialised in developmental psychology, the study of the functional maturation of our brain and detection of different types of psychopathology in the early years.

I started working with children and adolescents for the NSPCC and in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), then decided to move away from detection and assessment.

I became a counsellor for the Lambeth Academy, a secondary school serving a multi-cultural population, with a variety of developmental, emotional and behavioural difficulties. This experience gives me a unique insight into different developmental pathways into adulthood.

While researching different types of therapy, I found in hypnotherapy a very creative approach to explore, develop personal awareness, and enable you to change the way you respond to events and get back in control. Art continues to play a big part in my life.
