Ivy Kirk Hypnotherapy hypnotherapist , SE14
I provide solution focused clinical hypnotherapy. I will tailor my approach according to your personal preferences and desired outcome, to best support your process of change.
I have a formal training is in neurodevelopmental psychology and started my career working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I decided to move away from early detection and assessment, to work therapeutically. I went onto working as a counsellor for a London inner city secondary school, serving a multi-cultural population, with a variety of developmental, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I recognised in hypnotherapy a positive, creative and versatile approach, to engage the mind more effectively in the process of adaptation and healing.
During our initial meeting, we will explore your current situation and difficulties, expectations regarding therapy and where you aspire to be. It will be an opportunity for you to find out more about me and ask any questions you may have, so that you can make an informed decision about whether this approach is right for you. If you prefer, we can have an initial chat on the phone.
