Hugh Hetherington
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Therapist and Supervisor - 25 years experience.
My client age range is 21 to 75.
I work integratively, with an existential bias which always includes psychodynamic and CBT elements. People bring issues and concerns around : anxiety; stress; relationships; loss (including loss of meaning); and bereavement.
I do short-term and long-term therapy and am a qualified Relate therapist.
The relationship established is central to successful therapy.
Mindfulness is sometimes discussed as a useful coping strategy; as are other strategies for finding a new solution to thoughts and feelings and relationships which are causing stress, anxiety and/or depression.
I am BACP senior accredited.
