About Me
Hello! My name is Gemma and I have just completed my final year of a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, where I studied a humanistic and integrative approach to therapy. This training allows me to draw from various therapeutic techniques to tailor sessions to your unique needs, ensuring a compassionate and supportive environment for personal growth and healing.
My Approach
As a humanistic and integrative therapist, I believe in the inherent worth of every individual and the capacity for self-growth and self-healing. My approach is client-centered, meaning that I will work collaboratively with you to explore your experiences, emotions, and thoughts in a non-judgmental and empathetic space. I am passionate about helping individuals find their path to healing and self-discovery.
Experience
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals through an organisation that provides support to people from all walks of life. This experience has enriched my understanding of various life challenges, including childhood issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and grief and I have a particular interest in trauma. Through my work, I have seen how a tailored therapeutic approach can help individuals navigate their unique journeys towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.
If you are looking for a compassionate and understanding therapist to support you through your challenges, I am here to help.
