Fiona Chapman
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am wondering if you are looking for therapy because you are struggling with something or someone in your life? Life can, at times present challenges and changes that are hard to deal with. Sometimes it is difficult to cope and events and life cycles make us feel differently about the world we inhabit or force us into situations that we struggle to be in, or get out of.
Counselling is a talking therapy and although it might be difficult to find words to express how you feel, it is a chance to explore feelings, thoughts and behaviours. At the heart of the work I do is to build a trusting, honest and open relationship and provide a safe, confidential environment where you can have a look at some of those issues you might find baffling or upsetting. Counselling is an opportunity to review, heal and repair.
I have trained as an integrative counsellor and supervisor. This means that I work with varying approaches which helps me to use appropriate skills, tailor made to guide you through the process of exploration and healing. Above all, I place great importance on building a relationship that gives you the opportunity to feel heard, listened to, respected and understood.
I currently offer face to face therapy sessions in Stanmore, which is in easy reach of Bushey, Watford and other areas of North London. I also offer walk and talk therapy sessions to individuals in Ruislip and Stanmore. I continue to offer on-line therapy sessions via Zoom.
