About me

My name is Farzad Shamsavari, and I have worked as a psychological therapist for many years, both in private and NHS settings. I have worked mainly with working-age and older adults, couples, and families. I work on a variety of issues with my clients that mainly include emotional, personal, and interpersonal challenges. My approach to understanding and treatment or management of my clients’ issues are rooted in a broad base of knowledge which I apply to their individual, unique circumstances. While I don't adhere to one specific therapeutic approach, I use many concepts and techniques from a variety of therapeutic methods. In addition to my psychological expertise and experience, I care deeply about my clients’ personal development and happiness. I believe that this, along with my general attitude towards people - being 'equal', respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental - contributes greatly to the recovery of my clients.
