Christine ManningIntegrative counsellor
I came to counselling after difficult events made me seek counselling for myself. The healing I found there inspired me to train as a counsellor. I find it powerful and moving to sit with another person and explore the difficulties which they are facing, and I value the connection with my clients.
Perhaps you are feeling depressed and anxious, or that life is passing you by, or that you don't deserve to achieve anything worthwhile, or that there is something fundamentally unloveable and wrong about you. I have seen my clients learn to like themselves and achieve a new sense of wellbeing through counselling. It takes courage to seek help in improving your life, but that decision is life enhancing.
I offer my clients a regular, once a week session. You will have the space to talk to me about what is on your mind, and I will listen carefully and support you in working out what is going on for you. Of course, you don't have to perform, and if silence feels good to you, that's fine.
I find that our bodies have a wisdom - they can tell us things about our emotions that our conscious mind may not be aware of, and can help us to regulate our emotions. If you are comfortable with this, we can explore this information.
How to get started
If you would like to explore the possibility of our working together, please get in touch with me to let me know when would be a good time for me to call you to set up our trial appointment. I will do my best to ring you then - please make it easier for me by giving me a choice of times!
I am looking forward to supporting your decision to live your best life.
