About me

Therapy to choose who you want to be. “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” - Carl Jung Trauma informed approach: My name is Caroline, and I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist (MBACP), which means I can draw on several theories as needed by my clients (person centred, psychodynamic and CBT). Over the past seven years, I have worked predominantly with those who have had a traumatic event occur or have been witness to trauma in childhood or beyond. Clients have adapted their way of being in the World, to survive these circumstances - ultimately, they often they feel far from the person they should be, their authentic self. We process these experiences, in the relationship, in a safe, ethical and beneficial way for the client's personal development and change. How is this achieved: I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and find healing. I will support you in finding your voice, self-confidence and advocating for your boundaries. I will accompany you on a journey to find healing for your trauma and help you get in touch with a wise, compassionate and creative part of yourself. As an experienced therapist, we will work through what is happening for you in the present and how past experiences or traumas are influencing them. Neurodiverse affirming: My practise has evolved to include many neurodiverse clients, both with clinical diagnosis and self-diagnosed. Everyone's experience is different, but I am affirming and often find that trauma and neurodiversity are intertwined, so one cannot be examined without the other. I can make adaptations to the room and the work, to best facilitate the work, for you the client. Areas of interest and experience: * Attachment * People pleasing * Narcissism (individuals, family and work-based) * Neurodiversity - AdHd, ASD, Dyslexia * OCD - Pure-O, relationship OCD, real event OCD and intrusive thoughts. * Anxiety - health, productivity, existential, rumination. * Panic * Stress * Work burn-out * Fertility issues and IVF * Menopause - hormonal change * Self esteem Ultimately, my core belief as a psychotherapist is: “I believe everyone has the potential to be the truest, best version of themselves — therapy and self-exploration with a trusted therapist allows you to fulfil your potential.” - www.carolinevohoracounselling.com Whatever the reasons which have led you to this point, I genuinely believe that through our work together you can work through and process the emotions and issues which are negatively affecting you. It is completely your time and your space, for how you choose to change…. When I am not working with clients in Greenwich, I like to engage in as much self-care as possible - my weekly yoga class, mindfulness, reading and spending time with friends.

*October 2025 update - I have limited availability for new or returning clients at Greenwich, face to face. Currently I have limited availability for evening, online clients* Face to face - £75 per session Online or telephone - £65 per session How does it work: Following an initial 15 minute phone or Teams call (by way of introduction) we will arrange a convenient time for the first session. This session is 50 mins long, as a normal session is, and is a space to explore in more detail what you are looking to address in therapy. If suitable, goals can be explored. A brief assessment is required, at either this first session or the following. I am guided by you, the client, so what you need is paramount to the process of starting the work. My room is minutes away from Greenwich Park, the Station and various bus stops. It is central, but the building is quiet and secluded - offering a safe haven to explore whatever if troubling the client.
