About Me

I am a warm, compassionate and experienced counsellor who is committed to helping people on their healing path. I can help you move forward if you have experienced, trauma, adversity, bereavement, depression, anxiety or if you are feeling lost.

My counselling can give you the support and perspective you need to find your own way to a new authentic and fulfilling life. I believe, from my own experience having counselling and from observing my clients, that hope can start to grow in the most difficult of circumstances.

I offer a compassionate and confidential space for you to get to the root of what is distressing you or holding you back.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor which means that I have many tools to help you. These are the main principles behind my counselling:

  • I believe the answers are within you and I help you find the answers.
  • My holistic approach means that we can work on joining awareness of body and mind which benefits wellbeing.
  • I believe our childhood, early life and past relationships shape us. Exploring and coming to terms with our past can be transforming.
  • Creativity can be incredibly restorative. I can work with art and stories if suitable.
  • Trauma is stored in the. body unless it is processed and I can help you to process that trauma.
  • I can help you to look at your relationships to find any patterns that are repeating themselves and help you break those patterns.
  • I believe that self-compassion is essential in healing and will help you to cultivate that self-compassion.
  • Collaboration is very important to me in my practice. I am very open to questions and feedback regarding what works for you.
