Ben Douch
Integrative therapistAbout Me
Hi, I'm Ben, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I help people with difficulties including relationship issues, anxiety and depression, or just a sense something isn't right. My way of working is a mindfulness-based integrative approach - that's a bit of a mouthful so what does it mean?
I believe the healing quality of the relationship, between client and therapist, is the essential element in helping you experience a more rich and meaningful life.
Through this relationship we'll bring awareness to how your mind works and the thoughts and feelings you are struggling with. I'll help you bring acceptance, allowing you to experience parts of yourself in a different way, and we'll work together on the change you'd like to see. If you wish, we can use mindfulness activities during the session or discuss goals for you outside of our work.
If you are interested in finding out more about how I work, have any questions, or would like to book a consultation session, please send me an email or give me a call.
I work from home in De Beauvoir north-east London. It's in zone two on the border of Hackney and Islington, five minutes walk from Haggerston London Overground station which can be easily accessed from Highbury and Islington station. Nearby postcodes include N1, N5, E1, E2, E8 and EC.
I also offer online services too. Including instant messaging, email, audio and video calls. These may be suitable if you don't live in London, prefer to communicate online, or have difficulties leaving your home. These services are available through the following website which I use to ensure secure and confidential communications: https://plusguidance.com/bendouchtherapy
