About me

I decided to become a Therapist many years ago, following a struggle to overcome some of my own issues. I experienced a few different therapies before eventually finding my way through. I was very lucky to get the right kind of help at the right time for me, and I am still here today, still standing. I had the benefit of many Counsellors and Therapists along the way, some very good, and perhaps some that were not for me. I took myself off to University and specialised in Dependency issues. I trained in Psychodynamic and Systemic models, Couple-counselling, and Family Therapy, then worked as a Counsellor and Trainer for a few years before eventually developing the Integrated approach I use as a baseline for my work nowadays. I believe that as we are all individuals, with individual and varied needs, there is no one - size - fits - all to the kinds of help and support we often need. I aim to provide a person-centered approach in working with all my clients, enabling them to find and use their own resources to help them make the changes they wish for in their lives. Online services by Zoom are available in all areas of the UK, Europe, the US, and the Middle East. Face-to-face services in Birmingham and London are not available currently. I have considerable experience working with clients experiencing Alcohol and/or Drug-related problems. These may be associated with your own use or that of someone close to you. I can help if you are stressed, suffer from anxiety or fears, phobias, confidence or weight issues, sexual, relationship, or family problems. I can offer a free 20/30-minute consultation with no obligation. We can then decide between us where to go from there. Clinic sessions, when available, are London and Birmingham-based. Online sessions on the Zoom secure platform are available to all areas.
