Hello and welcome. I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor (BA Hons in Integrative-Relational Counselling), working both in private practice and within an NHS psychological wellbeing service.

My training is integrative, which means I use several approaches to best meet your individual needs, in a tailored way. 

As a relational counsellor, I understand most emotional injuries happen in relation, sometimes with their origins in our earliest experiences and can continue to have an impact throughout adult life. 

The therapeutic relationship aims to become the vehicle for exploring past hurt and also find new ways to integrate these experiences in a way that supports and benefits you.

I work at your own pace, where I don’t believe change can be forced but that once you look honestly and compassionately at where you are at, it invariably follows.

I aim to provide a safe and welcoming environment so as to encourage you to freely express your feelings and thoughts, a place to be truly heard.

I understand that the therapeutic process can be challenging and I encourage you to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and safe.
