Alexandra Njuguna
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am an NCPS accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and work therapeutically with adults and young people. I have experience supporting people through challenging times in their life, who are working through grief, anxiety, depression, relational issues, legacy of abuse, Trauma and addiction. My approach is integrative, meaning that I draw on a range of theories, such as Humanistic, Somatic, Psychodynamic and CBT to inform my work with clients.
In our work together, my aim is to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore difficulties you are having in your life. This may be to work through long-standing issues, or to work through a current problem or circumstance. The supportive therapeutic process can help you to strengthen and develop your own coping skills and your resources, with the aim of enabling you to reconnect to the essence of who you really are.
