Kate White is an online life coach

What attracted you to become a coach?

I never felt attracted to becoming a coach. It wasn’t something I was seeking to become although I have always loved being with people and exploring all matters of spirit, heart, mind and body.

A few years ago a dear friend of mine, Katie, was running a beautiful coaching programme called Pause Place and she invited me to join as a mentor. This experience was a gift I still find hard to describe. Alongside a group of 18 inspiring women we journeyed together over a year, meeting each other in presence and unconditional love. I am still in awe of the profound transformation that took place in this very simple space. The training opened a door for me to work one-to-one with people in a way that felt authentic, grounded, true and full of love.

Where did you train?

I trained with Pause Place and then later I embarked on a Vortex Healing training.

What kind of coaching do you offer?

The coaching and healing I offer is focused on awakening to the power of your own heart. Through very simple tools and gentle inquiry, we bring attention to any experiences or stories that might be creating a sense of fear, limitation, tension or suffering. By looking together, we create space for transformational release. This release brings great freedom and clarity. It is a huge relief to be seen and loved.

With this letting go of struggle and pressure, there is energy available to be used in a way that is liberating and inspiring. You can then feel what you really want and desire. You can create a life that you truly love. A life that is full of truth and beauty.

Alongside coaching I offer vortex healing which is a holistic form of energy healing. It invites deep rest and relaxation, using divine energy and consciousness to transform emotional issues and all aspects of the body's energy system, including the physical body.

How does your style of coaching help?

The coaching and healing I offer can be used for all aspects of life. Each session is uniquely tailored to your specific needs.

For example, when I am working with someone who is experiencing grief, we create a very gentle, nurturing space where you can share how you feel or simply feel supported and seen. It is not about getting rid of grief. Rather it is honouring the emotion, creating a safe space to feel and then allowing it to be released. Perhaps you don’t have a safe space where you can really let go and allow yourself to receive. Perhaps you feel the pressure to keep up and push on with life and yet deep down you feel the weight of sadness.

Because we live in a time where there is so much pressure not to feel, the important step we make is letting go of the pressure and really opening to receive support from life. It is really incredible how this very simple space invites transformational healing.

The sessions are a wonderful support for anyone who is going through a life transition, struggling with depression, work, creativity or relationships.

Vortex healing is a form of holistic healing which can be used to release any emotional or physical symptoms such as pain, trauma or stress from being stored in the body. It can be used on everything from anxiety and depression to more specific issues in the system. The intention is deep integration and release through the transmission of divine love, allowing the whole energetic system to awaken and feel its natural state of freedom, peace and expansion.

What sort of coaching clients do you usually see?

My clients range from teachers and artists, to doctors, nurses and tech specialists. Everyone is welcome.

Do you ever suggest books or other materials to clients?

I will share or recommend books and sources that have been and continue to be instrumental in my work and life.

What do you like about being a coach?

I love meeting people. I love seeing people and sharing and exploring life in a way that is authentic and tender and real. I love connecting with the spark of magic and joy that is available in this moment, and then seeing how this spark creates a glimmer of awakening and transformation. Creating a new possibility. Creating something never before experienced. This is really miraculous to witness. It is a gift.

What is less pleasant?

I am grateful to be living and working in a way that welcomes any sensations or feelings that we might describe as less pleasant. I have found that hidden within the difficulties and challenges are gifts of growth and wisdom.

What is one life lesson you try to live by?

Be true to your heart. Let love guide you.

What do you wish people knew about coaching?

I think the word coaching can be interpreted in many different ways. If you see beyond the label, there is simply the opportunity to meet a friend who you can share your experiences with.

This very simple meeting can invite new ways of seeing and healing. It can be very powerful to meet with someone who has no expectations or judgement. There is no hierarchy. There is so much freedom to be yourself. When you can be yourself it is like a breath of fresh air. It is like swimming in the ocean.

Coaching and healing will point to your wisdom. It will point to your own guiding light. It is really self-empowering and recognising your gifts.

Do you have a favourite client testimonial or particular success story?

Every session I have is truly special in its own way. There can be tears and heartbreak. There can be joy and laughter. Each session always delivers exactly what is needed.

Here are some beautiful words shared after a series of sessions…

“My vortex healing session with Kate was an intense and truly profound experience, much of which is beyond words. This offering feels so important, now more than ever, in a world where we are so accustomed to approaching our challenges from the head. Kate created a beautiful safe space to rest and be held, the healing that she facilitated encouraged me to surrender and receive; it felt radical for me but so necessary. I continue to feel the ripples of our time together many days afterwards. I will definitely be returning to her again soon.” Nici
