My professional orientation in psychotherapy is Humanistic - a belief that each individual has an inner drive to fulfil their potential and Person-centred - based on the values and principles of the person-centred approach which creates the necessary environment to encourage the development and expression of each individual capacity for individuality, autonomy, self-determination, empowerment and, ultimately, personal growth.
In the dialogue established during therapy, the different psychological components (thought, emotion, behaviour, physical and spiritual presence) that determine a person to seek therapy are equally attended to. Assessment and establishing realistic goals are an on-going component of my work.
