Timur Moon
Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
I offer psychotherapy to adults suffering from a range of emotional problems including anxiety, depression, mood swings, relationship problems and obsessional or compulsive behaviour, including alcohol and substance addiction.
I am a qualified psychotherapist, and have worked as a psychotherapist within the NHS for the last five years, seeing patients for weekly psychotherapy sessions at NHS services in London and nearby areas. I have also worked in a treatment facility for patients recovering from various forms of substance addiction. I underwent my initial training as a psychotherapist at the Tavistock clinic in Swiss Cottage, before specialising in forensic psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Portman clinic, part of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
I offer a non-judgmental and confidential space in which you will be able to speak freely about whatever has been troubling you. Drawing on my professional experience, I can help you to reach a deeper understanding of the issues you are struggling with, helping you to gain a new perspective including greater self-acceptance, while enabling a process of positive change to take place.
I currently have vacancies, including evening availability, for private therapy sessions, either for the short or long term. This would begin by arranging an initial consultation with me, where you will be able to speak freely about the nature of your difficulties. I also offer remote sessions, if it's more convenient to meet online. Get in touch with me to arrange an initial session, either by phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
