Tim Mortelmans
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Perhaps you're in a crisis, feeling depressed, suffering with panic/anxiety or you've started to find life meaningless. Most of my clients first come to see me feeling like that in some way.
If you come to see me I will offer you an empathetic non-judgemental space to talk openly, at a pace that suits you. I will be present when listening to you and I will offer you insight if I feel it may benefit you. Occasionally I will use creative exercises but only when you feel ready.
I've been practising psychotherapy for over 5 years and I know first hand that it has the capacity to transform lives, and it can also help you connect with a deeper sense of who you are and thus find greater meaning to life itself.
Fundamentally I believe you need to feel comfortable with the therapist you choose, so I offer a free initial telephone consultation. Please feel free to email me to arrange an appointment, I will always look forward to hearing from you.

Training and qualifications
I trained at the CCPE (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London) for five years, qualifying as a Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapist. My training was broken down into four parts, Psychodynamic (Our Early Life), Humanistic (Our Relationships & Our present life), Existentialism (Meaninglessness and Meaning) and Transpersonal (Spiritual Enquiry).
My Qualification is accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and my school, CCPE, is also accredited and a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).
