About Me

If life feels tough and you're unsure where to turn right now, I am here to offer a helping hand and to listen.

I was drawn to the world of counselling through my passion to help others to talk through the difficulties which they are experiencing; at times when life can feel unsettling and confusing and the need to talk comes from a place of wanting to sort out what is going on. My hope as a counsellor is to offer a space which feels warm and holding, where you can come to feel safe to process and explore yourself and what is going on for you, away from the possible chaos of everyday life. At the same time, I am here to help you to remember to shine a light on what you can hold onto; the light through the dark.

I work in an integrative way, so I take into account what is going on for you and adapt the way in which I counsel to best fit what you need. At the heart of my counselling, I work with empathy, non-judgement and openness and honesty to offer a therapeutic relationship based on care and trust.

Counselling is a place you can come where we can explore together the experiences of your past, present and future, with the hope that you can find a way forward and positive change to empower you, whilst I walk side by side with you in that journey.

Often you might find it hard to find the words to voice what is going on for you, and that is okay. We can think about creative ways which might help you, for example, drawing.

I have experience counselling children and young people and currently work at a young people's mental health charity, Off The Record in Sutton and Merton, for 11-25 year olds.
