About Me

Are you reading this profile because your current use of alcohol, substances, or compulsive behaviour is causing you to become disconnected from your life, your relationships and affecting your performance at work? Using a substance like alcohol or cannabis - habitually, compulsively, addictively- to manage difficult emotions and reduce stress, I suspect, was too good to be true at first. It provides the instant impact needed to change the weightiness of one's life. However, there comes a point when it stops working, and the need to use is anything but relaxing, it starts to become addictive. You become compelled by thoughts, the wanting and the using of your substance or behaviour. At this point, it is less of a choice; the solution it once was has now become a problem.

In my work as therapist, I help you to explore the circumstances that led to this lifestyle and suggest interventions that will support your journey toward reengaging with your life and all that was good about it and letting go of what was not.

As a transpersonal therapist, which means transcending the personal, I want to help people see themselves as more. I believe we all have a path. While our material needs will always need to be addressed, we can also take the time to think about a path that is likely ours to walk to fulfil a life that is better acquainted with our spirits. One's need to escape from their life through the use of alcohol may be for that very reason, to experience an idea of your best self.

I have faith in the idea that you have more to offer to your relationships, friendships, work, and most importantly you.

If this sounds like the support you want feel free to contact me here at Welldoing. I will arrange a free twenty-minute consultation call at a time that suits you, we can then go from there.

I look forward to hearing from you soon
