Stuart Nevill
Psychoanalytic psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello,
As your therapist, my role will be to support you. I will bring all of myself into our sessions, enabling and empowering you to understand your experience in ways that can make a real difference in your life.
I’m relaxed and approachable and I work flexibly, informed by what you bring to therapy and what works for you. You will find me to be non-judgemental, kind, patient and trustworthy. We are likely to talk about what you’re struggling with, as well as what matters most to you.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked with many people with many different issues. I’m familiar with long term and time-limited therapy. I've worked with significant mental health issues, every day challenges, and lots in between. Even if you aren’t exactly sure what you want from therapy, it’s OK to start with a curious attitude. In my experience a direction of travel usually becomes clear after a short while.
I encourage you to meet me at least once a week, ideally on the same day and time of the week, when possible.
I offer therapy online, in Richmond upon Thames and, and in other locations in London.
I am available Monday – Friday, including some evenings.
I qualified as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist in 2003. Before that, I was a Buddhist monk for 6 years.
You are very welcome to get in touch. We can have a free phone conversation or an online meeting. I’ll support you to think about how therapy with me could be helpful, and there’s no obligation to start or to remain in therapy longer than you want to.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Stuart
