About Me

My name is Sian and I am an experienced and qualified integrative counsellor. I am committed to providing counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I am passionate about the benefits that counselling can give in helping to improve our mental wellbeing.

I am trained to help others cope with emotional and social issues which can affect people of all ages. You may be suffering from anxiety or depression, have relationship problems, low self-esteem, have been bereaved or be dealing with other difficult events. Counselling provides you with a chance to talk about your feelings and experiences in a safe place with someone who will listen to and support you. I  will seek to understand, not judge and will work with you to make sense of your situation and make changes that improve your life.

I have a special interest in pregnancy and baby loss. fertility issues, birth trauma, post natal and pre natal anxiety and depression (both male and female) and issues around trying again after a loss.

I specialise in working with issues around the following:

  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Fertility Issues
  • Donor Conception, surrogacy and adoption
  • Miscarriage, pregnancy and baby loss
  • Termination
  • Birth Trauma
  • Pre-natal and post-natal, and with paternal anxiety and depression
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Trauma
  • Work issues
  • Bereavement
  • LGBTQ+

I work with individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

Please read my blog - https://skncounselling.blogspot.com/

I also have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community.
