Hello and a warm welcome to you.

Making changes to your life is not easy, however, you have taken the first step by reaching out and it would be a pleasure to support you on your therapeutic journey.
Expertise
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor/Therapist and I work with a wide range of issues including bereavement, abuse, relationships, addictions, fear and phobias and identity issues.
My specialist areas of expertise include working with bereavement, grief and loss, neurodiversity (ADHD and co-existing conditions), trauma, anxiety, anger management and relationships including families. I have over 23 years’ experience in different settings working in mental health, education, charities working in advocacy, mentoring, as a youth/parenting facilitator.
Additionally, I worked for an organisation in the City of London that specialised in pregnancy related issues including infertility, miscarriage, antenatal/post-natal depression, attachment and parenting issues and provided therapy to clients across the United Kingdom. I am also an accredited infant loss/subsequent loss practitioner.
You may be struggling, feeling restlessness, confused, forgetful, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, finding it difficult to control your emotions. Perhaps you are looking to improve or strengthen your relationships with family or friends and finding it difficult to overcome these challenges. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space and will help you to navigate through your difficulties, identify your triggers which will enable you to have a better understanding of how you are feeling so that you can make positive changes, build on your strengths and move forwards with your life. As a therapist, I will always recognise your individuality and different needs.
Some of the difficulties I work with are as follows:
Bereavement, Grief and Loss
· Are you struggling to accept your loss and finding it difficult to cope?
· Do you feel overwhelmed by your grief?
· Would you like to explore your loss in a safe environment where you will be listened to?
Trauma
· Do you experience flashbacks?
· Are you experiencing intrusive thoughts?
· Do you want to move forward but are not sure how to.
Anxiety
· Do you want to let go of distracting thoughts?
· Are you anxious when you met new people and prefer to stay at home?
· Is procrastination causing you more anxiety?
Relationships
· Are you going through a separation and wondering how you will be able to cope as a single parent?
· Is your parent struggling to recognise that you are now an adult?
· Do you want to set boundaries in your relationships?
ADHD
· Do you feel criticised and challenged by others who do not understand what you are going through. Are you often misunderstood? Do you use substances to self-soothe?
· Are you finding it difficult to focus?
· Are you constantly on the go, talking excessively, feeling distracted, interrupting others?
· Is your child’s/young person’s behaviour challenging you? Are you concerned about their risky behaviours?
· Are you exhausted and ready to reach out for help.
Pregnancy related issues/Infertility
· Do you feel that you will lose your identity once you become a parent?
· Have you been trying to conceive for a while or have you suffered a miscarriage or subsequent miscarriages?
· Are you suffering from post-natal depression?
· Do you feel judged and ‘shame’ as a result of having a termination?
Addictions
· When you feel lonely or stressed do you reach for alcohol or other substances?
· Do you want to stop gambling but are not sure how to?
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

What can you expect?
My theoretical approach is integrative and when words are not enough, I work from a creative and holistic approach (such as mindfulness and therapeutic worksheets). However, I can assure you that I will always work in collaboration with you to decide what is the best approach that is appropriate for you and your personal situation. This will help us to explore what is important to you which will help you to heal and accomplish your goals.
Together we will develop a personalised plan and goals.
How to get in touch
I completely understand that it is important to find a therapist that you are able to build a good rapport with and that they are qualified to work with the difficulties that you are experiencing.
