Shauneen Mackin
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am Shauneen, I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Thank -you for reading my profile.
Life and all the stresses, worries, anxieties and frustrations it brings can be difficult to carry and manage at times because we can feel like it is all too much. I offer a safe friendly, non-judgmental environment for you to talk about the difficulties you are experiencing in your own way and at your own pace. Counselling can provide an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors in a way you may not have done before, it can be scary and exciting at the same time. It is a process, and working through it together in the therapeutic space you may notice shifts and changes within yourself. It can be a difficult process but definitely a worthwhile one.
I am an integrative therapist which means I follow my clients lead in sessions but as each client is unique I draw on other modalities to ensure I am working with each client as an individual.
I work with people aged sixteen upwards, that are struggling with anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss and relationship difficulties.
