About Me

I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor. I work with both individual adults and couples with the aim of resolving issues and enabling life enhancement. In working with my clients, my aim is to meet them with empathy and respect and without judgement, valuing their uniqueness and individuality, whilst tailoring the therapy to their specific needs.

Some people enter the psychotherapeutic process because they feel that life is empty and unsatisfying and are looking to understand and resolve these feelings. I believe that apsychotherapeutic partnership is one of the most effective ways to get you back on track.

My approach is active, empathic, collaborative and challenging. I can help you define your priorities, access your intuition, understand your emotional life, and provide a direct and honest appraisal of your behavior. Therapy is most essentially a partnership between collaborators communicating clearly, specifically, and honestly. As healthy communication skills develop, healing happens.

I have particular experience in working with stress, generalised anxiety, depression, psychosomatic symptoms, panic attacks, feelings of low self-worth and low self-esteem, physical and emotional abuse, bereavement, trauma, addictive patterns, relationship problems, eating disorders, and those who are struggling with a lack of purpose and meaning in their lives.
