It can be scary looking for a counsellor, trying to pick the right person from hundreds of directory listings, not knowing what each person is really like.

For this reason I offer everyone the chance to have a short, free telephone call with me to enable you to get more of a sense of who I am, how I work and most importantly if you feel comfortable talking to me.

When you decide to have counselling with me, I will provide you with time that is about how you are feeling and thinking. A time that is for you to be open and honest. A time where you will be listened to, heard and understood. I will do this by allowing you to decide what each session is used for and if you would like to talk or incorporate other things - for example creative work, different exercises - into your counselling.

As a Person Centred Counsellor I work with you to find what you find helpful, what you use your sessions for and to help you find solutions to problems, ways to move forwards, coping strategies and much more.
