Sandra Kutner Integrative psychotherapist , NW7
As a Registered Counsellor I specialise in Anxiety and Depression for adults. My aim is to support you in times of emotional difficulty and to understand your triggers. By sharing your emotional challenges, we will explore your background and how you have learnt certain ways of being that perhaps dont support you in your life now.
My work is supported by 3 models which focus on past and preent relationships and how you connect with others in the world.i I provide a safe, warm environment built on authenticity, no judgement where the sessions are driven by you.
I will help you to engage with your mind and body which will help you attune to your feelings. As a result your body will let you know when you are being triggered and you will learn to manage your anxiety or depression. Sometimes to protect ourselves we create coping strategies at difficult stages of our life. Whilst this is helpful at the time, and deflects from painful feelings, we are avoiding engaging with emotions and feelings by shutting ourselves down. Our job in counselling is to understand the reasons for creating these mechanisms and to find healthier ways that support you in your life now.
At the moment all sessions are on line via skype or zoom due to Covid 19. Please be assured that my clients have not found moving to on-line counselling disconcerting.
