Samira Ramzan
Integrative counsellorAbout Me
I am deeply passionate about empowering others to overcome challenges, achieve their personal goals, and cultivate a healthier self-image. My practice is rooted in empathy, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to helping each individual feel genuinely heard and valued. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.
With a flexible approach, I offer both short- and long-term therapy to adult individuals through face-to-face sessions, online, and telephone options, accommodating diverse needs and preferences. My practice is informed by a trauma-sensitive approach, particularly in working with individuals who have faced difficult experiences such as rape, sexual violence, and historical abuse. These types of trauma can often lead to complex and multifaceted mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
In my work, I prioritise building trust, encouraging self-compassion, and empowering clients to rediscover their strengths. I understand that trauma can create deep-seated emotional wounds and impact various areas of life, including relationships, self-esteem, and overall mental well-being. Together, we explore these experiences, working through the pain, building resilience, and fostering hope for a future free from the shadows of past trauma.
My goal is to support each client in reconnecting with themselves, rediscovering their worth, and developing the tools they need to navigate life with greater confidence and peace.
